Description

We are looking for a cook who can lead service with the know how and experience to take on a leadership role in a fast paced, high volume kitchen.

Starting wage ca be negotiated based on experience.

This is a small kitchen with busy lunches and dinners.

We are looking for hard working individuals who value quality and thrive during service and pride themselves on work ethic and attention to detail.

Schedule will consist of a mix of days and nights including closes.

Bi-weekly tip pool. Retention bonus paid after 6 months in good standing.


Job Duties:
Prepare, season and cook menu items as directed, meeting dietary requirements where needed.

Follow recipes and presentation specifications.

Operate standard equipment safely and efficiently.

Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitaion.

Maintain inventory and record food, supplies and equipment.

Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fonthill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
