Day Shift:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Starting Wage:
Wage will be based on experience and skill set.

ADS is an industry leader in automotive returnable steel containers. These containers are used to ship various car components all over North America to the leading automotive manufacturers.

Our strong customer base consists of Honda, Toyota, General Motors, Fiat Chrysler and many of the tier one suppliers in Canada and the United States.

Our facility is located in Stratford, Ontario. We are a dynamic company experiencing rapid growth.

We are on the hunt for an individual who thrives in a fast pace environment and enjoys the independence to manage projects as they see fit.

With this freedom comes the understanding that customer requirements are being followed in detail and are clearly communicated to the rest of the team in an organized and timely manner.

This individual should be detail orientated and have the ability to not only solve problems but also identify problems and bring those issues to the team to develop a cost and time effective solution.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with customers, understanding their needs and communicating those to the project team in a defined manner
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a goaloriented environment
  • Liaison between all departments and suppliers to ensure delivery of purchased material and components is timely and coordinated for a successful delivery of product
  • Generate RFQ's for projects by gathering all pricing related to material and components and formulating that pricing into a total rack cost.
  • Responsible for creating and managing purchase orders.
  • Approving invoices where required
  • Assist with developing current suppliers into productive, efficient quality driven reliable resources
  • Contacting existing and potential customers to develop sales leads.
Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred
  • Familiarity with Solidworks or other CAD software is considered an asset
  • Strong computer knowledge
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem solving and problem identifying skills
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team setting
  • Past purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work with suppliers to ensure delivery and quality meet timing and requirements
  • Ability to read blueprints is an asset
