Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Conduct legal research on various topics using resources like Lexis-Nexis
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Support attorneys in administrative tasks including scheduling, filing, and correspondence
- Interview clients and witnesses to gather case information
- Write reports, memos, and correspondence under attorney supervision
Qualifications:
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage case files effectively
- Proficiency in legal research tools like Lexis-Nexis
- Familiarity with document management systems such as iManage is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interviews and correspondence
Pay:
$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
