First Truck is looking for the TOP SHOP FOREMAN in the industry who are ready to build a long-term career working on all OEM Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers and Motorhomes.

Primary Job Functions

Directly supervise technicians in the performance of all their duties
Assign Technicians to jobs based on skill levels and training certifications
Assist in repair order process
Road tests
Perform quality assurance activities, including:
Quality assurance inspections
Checks of job progress and quality
Training Technicians in quality assurance
Supervise the maintenance/use of tools and shop equipment with an emphasis on safety

Qualifications

Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic) Journeyman Certificate (or Red Seal)
Selfstarter able to work in a fastpaced, detailed, and processdriven environment
Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift
Must have own tools (required tool list will be provided)
Class 5 driver's license
Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus
