What YOU Will Do


Under the supervision of the Quality Director, the quality manager will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and control tasks on the construction site to ensure compliance with the quality plan of the construction project.


High-performance tasks:

  • Prepare and ensure the implementation of the quality plan.
  • Act as a liaison between the contractor, the client, and subcontractors regarding quality issues.

Have the authority to:

  • Identify quality problems and deviations from the quality assurance system.
  • Halt ongoing activities, when necessary, that contradict quality documents.
  • Implement, recommend, and provide solutions to encountered problems.
  • Ensure that operations are controlled following the detection of a problem until its complete resolution.

Specific tasks and responsibilities:

  • Provide necessary support to project team members in implementing the Quality Plan.
  • Monitor QRT (Questions/Responses/Technical) correspondences with professionals and subcontractors.
  • Manage and verify the compliance of workshop drawings and other technical documents submitted.
  • Prepare the execution procedures necessary for the project and monitor methods proposed by subcontractors.
  • Conduct and coordinate inspections with various stakeholders independently in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Validate qualityrelated records and ensure their followup.
  • Verify the implementation of technical changes communicated by professionals.
  • Draft and ensure the followup of nonconformities and corrective actions.
  • Propose solutions to nonconformities in collaboration with the superintendent and subcontractors.
  • Compile and interpret data and statistics on nonconformities.
  • Supervise the recording of deficiencies and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure the as-built drawings of the project are kept up to date.


What YOU Will Bring

  • Holder of a bachelor's degree or a technical diploma in construction engineering or architecture.
  • Relevant experience in the construction field and in quality management.
  • Previous experience on HQ or MTQ projects is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong interest in civil engineering projects.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Geographical mobility.
