Rismat (FloorGuard) Matting Systems is a small commercial and residential matting manufacturer, wholesaler, and distributor with offices in Markham, Ontario, and Shanghai China.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Rismat has distribution points in more than 30 countries around the world, servicing homeowners, businesses, retailers, governments, mass transit, hospitals, office buildings, apartments, and other customers with our unique line of matting systems.

We are in need of an entry-level
Sales and Service Representative to assist our growing business in the GTA and beyond, working from our office in Markham, ON.

We are looking for someone who will grow into the position and be flexible enough to take on varying tasks on a day-to-day basis.

In this role, the rep will become proficient at:

• the Rismat Matting System and our core beliefs,

- contributing to sales and corporate goals,
- cultivating new/repeat customer orders,
- responding to customer inquiries,
- completing site evaluations,
- creating detailed quotes,
- assisting with installations and service calls,
- assisting with warehouse and packaging work,
- attending trade shows as required (may include some international travel)

• Other duties as assigned
• A learning, 'cando' attitude
• Customerfacing sales experience
• Full 'G' licence with clean driving abstract
• Excellent English Communication
• PC and Windows Suite knowledge
• Warehouse experience (lift truck certification would be an asset)
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Previous flooring or construction experience

Rismat will offer the following compensation:

• Full-time (35 hours per week)
• Some weekend and night work required
• Starting wage at $18.50/hr with review after 3 months
• Year-End bonus structure

From $18.50 per hour
