- Ensure to be prepared and report to respective workstations at appointed time;
- Operate and attend to manual and automated equipment in the manufacturing process operation.
- Perform all functions as designated by the Company's instruction while operating specified equipment.
- Load and unload items from machines and assembly lines.
- Understand and inspect the product through specified manufacturing specifications, recognizing areas of defect and taking appropriate actions to rectify them.
- Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection on equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Assure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and designated organizational as well as provincial and federal safety guidelines.
- Ensure all equipment is operated according equipment manufactures instructions and safety guidelines are followed.
- Complete various paperwork and reports
- Participate in educational and training opportunities applicable to the position.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
- Troubleshoot problems and report issues
- Must work well in team environment
- Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
- Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
