The Manager is the primary contact for all internal clients in their dealings with the Digital Products team. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders to capture new products or service ideas. Identifies and documents pain points and requirements and analyzes the information to prioritize and align with corporate direction.


Responsibilities:

Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for the Manager, Digital Business Planning and Integration.

  • Facilitates all crossfunctional communication, coordination, and sharing of information. Prepare, track and meet with stakeholders on a regular basis to inform them about best practices, opportunities and procedures. Educates stakeholders on performance reports and customer feedback for their online properties.
  • Designs, develops, implements and maintains a process to capture new product and/or service ideas and/or requests from multiple sources, ensuring a framework that can effectively collect, screen, and select ideas. Responsible for the daytoday management of the process, including responding to individuals who submit new product/service ideas, and soliciting additional information and/or clarification on new product/service ideas as required and documenting the request in the Integration funnel.
  • Leads the identification and documentation of pain points along with channel management and stakeholders to shape the vision for the online channel and communicate them to senior stakeholders.
  • Accepts, tracks, assesses and manages multimillion dollar Project Proposals and guides to assess strategic fit. Supports in developing a Conceptual Project Solution and assess alignment to standards and best practices. Also supports Product Operations to develop estimates and schedule releases.

Job Responsibilities (continued):

  • Serves as the project manager for all day-to-day activities and phases of the development process, including working with the stakeholders to bring a product/service/request to successful launch on-time.
  • Prepares for and coordinate Internet Steering Committee activities including packaging and distributing materials and managing committee issues and actions. Participates in auditing intake process on an annual basis.
  • Prepares and manages Strategic Guidance reports to capture and share Channel Project Proposal assessments. Meets with stakeholders to review and explain Strategic Guidance reports.
  • Keeps abreast of CPC products, services, and business strategy and vision, as well as digital media innovations in the marketplace to meaningfully engage with stakeholders, business owners, and regulatory teams.

Qualifications:


Education

  • Completed postsecondary in Business Administration, Computer Science OR a combination of equivalent professional experience and training

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant functional experience
  • 2 or more years' experience managing people
  • One or more years of experience in a unionized environment an asset
  • Indepth knowledge of Canada Post's business, corporate strategy and vision
  • Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent team building and leadership skills and experience
  • Sound organizational, analytical, judgement and decisionmaking skills with proven abilities in problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
