Description

We are looking for a friendly face to help lead our back-of-house Food and Beverage team This is the perfect opportunity to expand your knowledge and grow in the hospitality industry.

We are looking for someone passionate about food and people, team leader, demonstrates a good attitude and great work ethic.

They would report to the head chef directly about daily operation tasks.


Experience/Skills:


  • 34 years of kitchen leadership experience is an asset.
  • Great customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, with good time management skills.
  • Able to adapt to different situations, and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Be able to delegate daily task to other team members.
  • Willingness to learn and provide the best experience possible to our guests
  • Have prior knowledge working with ordering systems and menu design such as testing and recipe development.

Duties:


  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the products and menu items offered.
  • Maintain consistency in preparing and plating food.
  • Adapting to guest requests and modifications, while maintaining product quality.
  • Maintain proper rotation of product, to ensure mínimal spoilage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace/ equipment throughout shift.
  • Direct and assist with standard cleaning duties.
  • Follow all food and beverage procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Communicate efficiently with the head chef, other hotel departments and team members.
  • Ensure a professional and friendly manner at all times.

Salary:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability
