(Salary range $25.00/hr. - $30.00/hr. w/ access to benefits)

PURPOSE

Industry Leading Audio/Visual Production Company that specializes in the technical production and staging of high profile events within the Greater Toronto Area (and throughout Ontario).

Our production services include audio, video, and web productions for various Government, Sports,
Entertainment, Public Relations, and Business Leader events.

The objective of this role is to provide hands-on technical expertise related to the physical staging and operating of live and virtual events.

This key role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate equipment for all aspects of live onsite, hybrid, and virtual productions including audio, video, visuals, lighting, staging, switching, editing, graphics, and streaming
  • Work with clients to meet expectations including: preproduction meetings and followup
  • Supporting and/or leading the technical team before, during, and after productions
  • Become familiar with proprietary VVC web portal software ""
  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships to ensure quality service and repeat business
  • Pulling, prepping, packing and loading orders onto vehicles as required
  • Delivery & setup of equipment based on predetermined requirements
  • Assisting in striking, returning and putting away the equipment as required
  • All other duties as assigned by management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree/College diploma or equivalent work experience is an asset
  • Experience with operating audio/visual equipment and livestreaming software is required
  • Experience with Tricaster and/or vMix software an asset
  • Experience with Adobe CC (Premier pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Exceptional organization and planning skills an asset
  • Strong personal computer skills required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills an asset
  • Strong customer service & problem solving skills required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and take direction is required
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change in a dynamic environment required
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle an asset

-Working outside regular business hours is required based on show/client requirements

-Punctuality and early mornings are a necessary part of the job

SUMMARY

Job Types:
Full-time, Casual


Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Audio Visual: 2 years (preferred)
