The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns to grow the target audience and/or client databases, drive consent to market, and encourage target prospects to engage with relevant Informa content.

The specialist will develop and deliver a wide range of multi-channel marketing activities. The Marketing Specialist also drives community engagement, increasing community membership, web traffic, and conversions.


The key objective of the role is to help execute marketing campaigns that result in target prospects engaging with our brands/products/services and gaining hard traction.

This role will primarily focus on managing marketing tactics for the One Of A Kind Show.

Responsibilities_**- Partner with colleagues and external agencies to define marketing tactics along the customer journey, build brand awareness and consideration, and drive the acquisition of new audiences.


  • Partner with external and internal resources to develop and execute community and engagement content including an impactful content calendar executed through various media (eg roundtable events; webinars; opeds; news insights).
  • Manage social platforms calendars on Sprinklr and pull reports to suggest improvements.
  • Manage marketing lists and follow database best practices.
  • Recommend social media tactics aligned to brand strategy, write and schedule all planned social posts.
  • Manage online communities on META, Pinterest, TikTok etc.
  • Manage website updates via Core/AEM tool (ongoing updates and uploads).
  • Work with external agencies and partners to develop campaign creative work and produce event signage and advertising.
  • Ensure that all marketfacing materials are on brand according to brand guidelines.
  • Maximize usage of Informa systems and processes, adopting a best practice and facilitating developments in line with internal and external requirements.
  • Be accountable for the allocated budget.
  • Be present at select shows in person to support show execution.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in Campaign Management, executing a strategy that raises awareness, generates interest and desire, and solicits action.
  • Proven ability to write content for social media/web pages
- samples will be requested.

  • Graphic design and video editing skills for social media reels, carousels and other posts
- samples will be requested.

  • Understanding of design and marketing/advertising creative principles ability to judge quality of creative ad design.
  • Community management background / driving organic social media engagement.
  • Content marketing experience: art of using relevant, engaging content to attract and nurture prospects through the buyer journey.
  • Strong relationship management and ability to nurture relationships with community members as well as collaborate across teams internally.
  • Can demonstrate an entrepreneurial collaborative approach, bringing fresh and exciting ideas for marketing growth campaigns or new content/community initiatives.
  • Prior experience in working cross functionally and being able to synthesize feedback in a concise and informative manner.
  • Prior experience of coordinating projects, ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • 2+ years Practical experience of collateral production and design.
  • Previous experience or training with CORE/AEM, Adestra/Eloqua, InFront.
  • Experience with promoting events and digital activities that generate engagement.
