Job summary
The Deputy Site Manager (DSM) at the Cormorant Main Operating Base (MOB) in Comox, BC is responsible to the Site Manager (SM) for the coordination of all activities in support of aircraft undergoing scheduled maintenance,second level maintenance shops, material inventory and control,
Aircraft Maintenance Support Equipment (AMSE) and tool control while in adherence to overall scheduling and standards of maintenance at the site.
- Supervise MOB shops, hangar and shop staff — ensure maintenance, cleanliness, training and compliance.
- Work with the Production Supervisor to assign crews/shifts,
- schedule aircraft maintenance,
- select aircraft for flight or deployment,
- and assign overtime.
