The Human Resources department is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m.

The Wheelchair Technician will work in cooperation with other staff, management, outside contractors and others as required to ensure the timely and efficient completion of tasks.

Several Years of Experience in General equipment maintenance in a facility of similar size and complexity - required
Ensures work area is kept neat, clean and organized
Inspects, tests, diagnoses, and services equipment found to be deficient
Maintains adequate inventory of parts and materials required to provide timely service.

Monitors the condition of the hospital's inventory of wheelchairs and ensures that a program of preventive and demand maintenance is followed.

Provides advice and assistance to outside contractors and other facility personnel as required
Knowledge and experience with mobility equipment – required – mandatory testing.
