Forward Insurance Managers Ltd. is looking for a full-time Junior Accounting Clerk to join our team in-office in Vancouver, BC.

Reporting to the Controller, this individual will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day duties of the accounting department and ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Account reconciliations for billing/processing of invoices
Generating weekly, monthly, annual reports from multiple systems for reporting
Identify billing errors & determine course of action to rectify
Manipulation and formatting of reports in MS Excel
Other duties assigned by the Controller

Qualification:

Proficiency with MS Office
Good communication and soft skills
Data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Comfortable working with large amounts of data
Proficient use of MS Excel including basic use of formulas, sorting, searching and formatting
Team Player with can do attitude
Responsible and dependable with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Willingness to learn

Pay:
$19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
