La Bakeri is currently seeking a mature, experienced individual to join our team.Job description:
- handle and prepare bakery products
- Maintain and refill pastry counter with fresh pastries throughout the day
- Responsible for initiating/receiving & completing orders in person and by phone
- Piped writing on bakery cakes to order
- Operate cash register, Process cash and credit/debit card payments
- have customer service experience in the food industry
- be available to work on weekends and holidays
- have cake piping/writing experience
- have ability to multitask and seamlessly switch tasks
- be safety-conscious
- have artistic skills & attention to detail
- speak/write fluent english (Italian speaking an asset)
Physical
requirements:
- contstant standing, walking and bending
- occasional lifting up to 50lbs
- constant reaching, turning and performing precision work
- constant receiving detailed information through verbal communication with staff and customers
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
Salary:
$15.50-$16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
