- ***:_ _The Manager, IT Operations is responsible for the management of all IT Operations technology, staff performance and customer service delivery across the IT Department's customer base. This position is responsible for the 24/7 operation, monitoring, and improvement of all IT Operations service management practices in the delivery of IT services to staff, physicians, volunteers and associated individuals. The IT Operations Manager provides strong team leadership and contributes to the end goal of utilizing information technology resources to improve patient/client care, end user experience and technology efficiencies for all supported organizations (hospitals and supported partners). _

REPORTS TO:_ _Director, Information Technology, Material Management & Communications_

SALARY:_ _$130,628 per annum _
QUALIFICATIONS:_
- _University Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Clinical Informatics or a similar field._

EXPERIENCE:_

- _3-5 years related IT Management experience (Healthcare experience preferred)_
- _Proven experience with IT infrastructure capacity planning and deployment_

- _Direct experience working with:_

- _Hyper
  • V, VD Horizon, routers and switches, Firewall, Wi-Fi, Windows server and desktop platforms, VPN, IAM, active directory, monitoring tools, backup solutions, Office 365 Platform (Sharepoint, E mail and OneDrive) _
- _Proven experience implementing cyber security best practices and tools_

- _Direct experience working with:_

- _EDR/XDR vulnerability management tools, IRP design and implementation, anti-spam, MDR implementation, and managing cyber security incidents_
- _Experience managing medium/large scale IT projects._
- _Staff performance management, mentoring, goal setting, scheduling etc._

- _Able to effectively manage staff and set team goals and priorities_
- _Strong performance management skillset_
- _Possesses strong customer focus - proven ability to understand customer/partner requirements and implement IT solutions to meet these needs_
- _Strong work ethic with the ability to self-start and work independently or as part of a multi-discipline team_
- _Detail-oriented and exceptionally well organized with the ability to identify areas that require improvement throughout IT Operations_
- _Excellent budgeting, forecasting and vendor management abilities_
- _Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to ensure proper alignment with broader organization and enterprise strategies and to lead the team towards that alignment_
- _Continuous learner who is adaptable to new technologies_
- _Possesses positive energy and demonstrates honesty/integrity in all endeavours_
- _Able to assume role of trainer, mentor to other members of the Operations team_
- _Strong team motivational skills _
- _Highly competent using tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Project_
