THE OPPORTUNITY:


The Product Manager is responsible for leading the positioning and shaping of the current and new products and services in product portfolio to create the best value to potential customers.

They will help formulate product strategy to expand customer base.

The product line manager will be primarily responsible for proactive engagements with current customers for contract renewals and potential expansion of the scope of existing contracts.

You will be also monitoring closely all renewals and new pipeline and provide timely support to sales and customers.

The incumbent will monitor and assess emerging developments and technical trends in the market and evaluate competitors from a technical capability perspective and propose changes to portfolio/ products to gain competitive advantage.


The Product Manager is also responsible to identify opportunities in terms of new product development & in terms of new customers relating to semiconductor industry products such as mobile phones, wearables, computers, smart home, and IoT devices.

At TechInsights, in this role you'll work with many experts in teardown, pricing and costing products in the field of consumer and automotive electronics products.

You will be also exposed to many products, revealing cutting-edge innovation to our customers via the TechInsights Platform.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Positions products in the appropriate customer segments through understanding of the end customer needs/ competitive landscape
  • Expand current customer base by establishing, renewing and targeting serviceable available market working with sales
  • Proactively engage with current customers to understand their needs in order to renew and expand the current contracts
  • Identify gaps in the products and work with engineering, analysts, sales and marketing to fill those gaps to enhance product portfolio
  • Translate product strategy, revenue goals and customer needs in to new product expansion

  • Drive product launches working with marketing and sales teams
  • List of general tasks and responsibilities
  • Drive product and business planning working with teams internal and external to organization
  • Analyze customer needs, current trends in the market and should able to establish ROI
  • Maintain and expand revenue through retaining and expanding customer base
  • New product evaluation, idea and strategy generation to satisfy customer needs and business goals.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Undergraduate degree in a field related to hightechnology (computer science, engineering) or relevant work experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • Great communicator and presenter of information to technical and business audiences
  • Business savvy
- ability to make data driven decisions and have negotiations skills

  • Ability to correctly prioritize tasks and wants of the customers
  • Strategic thinker
- based on the understanding of industry, product positioning and competition

  • Ability to synthesize customer needs to establish and update product roadmap to maximize value of offering
  • Undergraduate degree in a field related to hightechnology (computer science, engineering) or relevant work experience
  • Ability to effectively work with clients and internal teams to distill feedback and drive consensus
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives independently
  • Advanced knowledge of the product management life cycle
  • Proven ability to define product roadmaps from conception to delivery
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry combined with deep knowledge of assigned technical arena.
