    Are you a highly skilled geotechnical engineer looking for a challenging role in BC Hydro? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer. This position is responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of construction activities.

    We are offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.

    This is a permanent full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week. Benefits include a dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, and paid time off (volunteering or personal days).

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and practices, with experience in conducting site investigations, designing earthworks, and managing geotechnical risks.
