About the opportunity
This position reports to the Manager, Engineering & Software Development.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Scrum Master, you will use "Scrum of Scrums" framework principles in its technical software delivery. You will manage the scrum process using your knowledge of the Scrum framework, including its roles, events, and artifacts. As part of the Scrum Masters Community of Practice, you ensure continuous self-improvement and consistent processes across the teams.

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Supporting the Manager in maintaining a clean and clear Roadmap
  • Coaching each Scrum team on breaking down work into clear sprint objectives, outlining clear outcomes, and reviewing those outcomes to inform future work.
  • Encouraging team members to reveal and challenge predefined ideas about Scrum role boundaries and responsibilities, empowering the Scrum team to delegate decisions and tasks within a defined scope.
  • Rolemodeling the teams and reminding them of the importance of the five Agile Scrum values daily to foster trust and psychological safety.
  • Supporting Scrum Teams towards their goals and facilitating the Scrum Events (e.g., planning, review, sprint demos, standups) in the Americas
  • Coordinating with third parties development companies abroad to interact with our Backlog and Roadmap
  • Understanding key crossfunctional concepts that impact the organization, being aware of business priorities and organizational dynamics
  • Encouraging discipline, like no new work entering sprints and safeguarding the agreed/established processes, helping teams and individual members to be selforganizing
  • Standardizing teams' Agile practice
  • Leading retrospectives for both delivered software and operational improvements, identifying new continuous improvement steps with internal and thirdparty teams
  • Tracking internal and external teams' velocity, product/sprint backlogs, and sprint/release progress and reporting on these

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Have completed Bachelor studies or a combination of relevant education and experience
  • Be a certified Scrum Master with relevant experience working as a Scrum Master for a Software Team
  • Have a thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
  • Be an excellent team player and understand team dynamics
  • Be able to show good problemsolving, process improvement, and analytical skills, along with interpersonal skills
  • Can understand technical issues at a high level
  • Have superb communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Can coach the team to reach their highest potential
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check
