Regional Operations Coaches (ROCs) utilize operations expertise to coach and consult with retail leaders to execute and sustain organizational priorities and achieve excellence in store operations.
- As a _regional operations coach_, you will _
Market Advisor:Builds retail leader capability to leverage Ops excellence and bring the Starbucks Experience to life. Effectively influences and consults with retail leaders to incorporate changes driven by organizational priorities

Business Analysis and Problem Solving:Collaborates with retail leaders to identify and validate market trends. Uses targeted problem solving in order to achieve organizational priorities and create pathways to excellence.

Prioritizing and Planning: Partners with retail leaders to integrate regionally relevant activities into the planning cycles to ensure successful execution of company plans.

Culture & Effective Communication:Leverages communication paths in and out of the market to ensure retail leaders and support partners have the information and context they need to make decisions.

Coaching for Excellence: Works shoulder-to-shoulder to cultivate relationships that build Ops Excellence capability and inspire action within the region to achieve top priorities.

- Strong coaching skills demonstrated across multiple levels of leadership successful at and comfortable with coaching leaders, peers and direct report partners.
- Demonstrated skill in leveraging Operational Excellence tools, resources and approaches as designed, to positively impact customer and business results.
- High level of business acumen, tied to ability to implement strategic plans and create positive change within the organization.
- Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbal and written, highly developed listening skills
- Track record of assessing performance and developing talent at all levels
- Strength in developing, maintaining and leveraging effective working relationships.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity, work independently and make assessments with sometimes limited information.
- District manager experience required current or in past roles.
- Experience in both licensed and company operated Starbucks environment an asset.
- Bilingualism/proficiency in French would be an asset.
- Change and Program Management across multiunit operations.
- Facilitating and Coaching partners across various levels within the organization
