Description
DeFaveri Group Contracting, a local general contractor in the ICI sector, is searching for a full time estimator.Responsibilities include:
- Obtain drawings, electronic files and all other documentation required to prepare takeoffs and cost estimates
- Visit potential job sites
- Preparing quantity takeoffs
- Obtaining price estimates from vendors and subcontractors
- Ensure that price quotes are prepared for and received by potential customer
- Update takeoffs for changes in drawings, addendum, or other job specification; report changes to the president
- Organize drawings and all other job documentation, both electronically and paper copy
- Maintain job files
Requirements:
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to focus on task at hand and meet deadlines
- Proven attention to detail
Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Construction estimating: 5 years (preferred)
