OPAS Mobile is a Newfoundland-based company that helps clients build a 'Safer, More Productive Workplace' using Artificial Intelligence.

Our field management software automates key safety, operational, fleet and project control tasks in an easy-to-use platform that prevents workplace incidents and saves companies time.


We're looking for a a highly motivated sales professional to drive international growth in pursuit of adding 8000 new users by the end of 2023.


The Role:


  • Find and secure new customers within current target markets and identify new potential markets.
  • Lead the customer through a buying process and each stage of an evolving sales process from lead generation and discovery, to demo, signup and initial implementation.
  • Conduct user demos designed to display our product, qualify leads, and create new sales opportunities.
  • Onboard new clients, set up users and provide initial training.
  • Work with the marketing and product development teams to refine the product and the marketing mix.
  • Travel to trade shows, conferences, and industry events in Canada and Internationally, to establish new contacts and create new sales opportunities.

Must Haves:


  • Ambition An internal drive to hunt for new clients and sell is mandatory and will be well compensated.
  • Previous B2B sales experience
  • The ability to work independently with mínimal supervision is critical.
  • Flexibility to schedule meetings with leads in other time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with a CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other sales tech.
  • Eligible to work for any employer in Canada without restrictions or sponsorship.
  • An interest in international travel that may be extensive at peak periods within the year and an ability to travel within Canada and internationally without restrictions including renting cars as needed.
  • Ability to bond and obtain security clearances

Nice to Haves:


  • Previous technology or software sales experience.
  • Experience in or knowledge of heavy industry (oil & gas, mining, industrial construction etc.)
  • Engineering or business educational background (undergraduate or college)
  • Located in Atlantic provinces
  • Halifax or St. John's, NL preferred.

Salary:
$60,219.00-$120,301.65 per year
