As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

This is a key leadership role within our organization, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting
• Conduct regular account analysis to identify variances and discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decisionmaking processes
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees
• Utilize accounting software (Esilaw) to maintain accurate financial records

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager in Alberta or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficient in using accounting software
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
