The Role

As a Carrier Procurement Representative you will source, negotiate and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner.

On this team you will have the support to excel at work, and the opportunity to build a rewarding career.

Each day will be different, yet a typical day will include:
Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight
Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process
Ensure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns or other issues as necessary
Multi-tasking, prioritizing and problem solving as issues arise
Keeping things organized and tracking important information

What you need to succeed at RXO:
Procurement experience an asset
Transportation experience an asset
High energy and a positive attitude
Hard working and self motivated
Love to jump on the phone and get stuff done
Tech Savvy - not afraid of new software and have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Salary:
$45,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
