Key Responsibilities:
_
- Programming and operating CNC machines to produce cabinet components.
- Using tooling for CNC machining of solid wood or woodbased materials
- Following provided production schedules and working with supplied documentation to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials to and from the machining center.
- Maintenance of CNC equipment to ensure safe and efficient longterm performance.
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.
- Monitor the CNC machine during operation to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Adjust settings as needed to maintain product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Inspect and measure finished pieces to ensure they meet the required dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Communicate any issues, delays, or improvements to the production supervisor or manager.
To fully qualify for and be successful in this position you must have:_
- Recent production experience running a CNC machining centre to produce wood products
- Experience programming CNC routers (or point to point machining centres) for high volume production of cabinet components. (Examples of comparable machines include Biesse).
- Experience programming and operating a
nesting CNC router is strongly preferred. - Experience processing either solid wood or woodbased materials (such as plywood, MDF, particleboard).
- Knowledge of and experience with related material handling equipment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain the safety of yourself and others at all times through best practices on the production floor and in the workplace in general
- Ability to maintain and promote a positive attitude, teamwork and cooperation.
- Strong knowledge of basic Windows PC functions
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail (knowing when to surface spoilboards, catch mistakes, material sizes, when to change tools, etc.)
- Knowledge of Biesse Native software (B-Solid/Biesse Works) is a plus
- Relevant CAD software knowledge (Woodwop, Maestro, Mastercam, etc.) would suffice if no prior experience with Biesse Native Software
- Cabinet Vision or Mozaik experience (or willingness/ability to learn) for renesting purposes
- Ability to change tools
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Ability to operate forklift is a plus
- Lift up to 75 lbs
- Strong math skills
- Basic troubleshooting

$25.00-$29.00 per hour
