Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills and swallowing function
• Provide therapy sessions to patients, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on speech and language disorders, as well as strategies for improving communication Requirements:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working in acute care or hospital settings preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to speech and language disorders
• Strong case management skills to effectively coordinate patient care
