Job Summary
:
We're looking for our first experienced Marketing Operations Manager to own the end-to-end optimization and governance of marketing processes at Tailscale. This role ensures that technology and automation are integrated and deployed effectively, funnels are optimized, and data is tracked properly.

Your key responsibilities will include
:

Maintaining and optimizing marketing infrastructure, performance, and processes
:

Selecting and managing the marketing technology stack while maintaining database quality and ensuring GDPR / CASL compliance
:

Diagnosing issues with current Martech stacks (looking at configurations, setup, and integrations to determine how to optimize them for success and identifying gaps that may need to be filled with new tooling)
:

Setting up and maintaining marketing automation campaigns as well as reviewing functionality, workflow, and building and updating landing pages.
:

Assisting key business partners in measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and marketing automation programs
:

Defining and implementing lead qualification and scoring, and marketing attribution models
:

Working closely with sales partners to ensure alignment across the GTM funnel
:
Ideally, you have
:

Proficiency with advanced marketing automation functionality including managing a system of nurture tracks, ensuring proper data flows between various systems, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
:

Built dashboards and reports to keep your key stakeholders informed
:
-
A keen interest in the expanding marketing technology landscape
:

An analytical mind with an enthusiasm for problem-solving and measuring the effectiveness of your work.

The ability to concept, create, and scale processes with lots of autonomy.
