- Perform pre-trip inspections.
- Be willing to take both direction and initiative on the job.
- Operate a truck safely and efficiently.
- Assist Maintenance, Plant Operator, Labourer when Crushing Plant is down.
- Be willing to work in extreme and unpleasant weather conditions.
- Be accountable for all fluid levels and cleanliness of operating cab.
- Be aware of all conditions while operating and adjust accordingly.
- Achieve all requirements of Common core training.
- Other duties as assigned by Superintendent or Production Supervisor
- High school diploma, or equivalent by experience;
- Experience in a related aggregate/construction industry;
- Experience operating a skid steer/man lift equipment;
- Able to operate heavy equipment and/or construction equipment;
- Previous Asphalt Plant or Quarry Experience is an asset;
- Common Core Certification is an asset;
- DZ Class Driver's License is an asset.
