Purpose_**Contributes to the overall success of Product Marketing, Scotia Global Asset Management in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.**_
Accountabilities _**:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Acts as a key strategic partner providing recommendations and strategies to build brand equity and awareness for assigned focused area.
- Responsible for developing thoughtful strategic plans to achieve priorities, obtain support from stakeholders, successfully execute, measure and report on success. This includes product launches, growth areas and digital programs.
- Partners with Scotia Digital, Digital Marketing and SGAM Content, Advertising and business partners to ensure coordination and successful execution of marketing programs
- Supports a culture of innovation and efficiency; identifying opportunities to automate, improve or eliminate lowvalue initiatives and maximize ROI.

- Directs daytoday activities in a manner consistent with the Bank's risk culture and the relevant risk appetite statement and limits.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Education/Experience_**- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Marketing;
- 5 years of investment product marketing experience in the financial services industry;
- Solid understanding of investment products and specifically mutual funds;
- Completion of the CSC;
- MBA an asset
