Position Overview
The
Warehouse Associate will perform various tasks related to inbound and outbound inventory, equipment and assets. This includes receiving and shipping of purchased products, job site equipment, consumables and client contents. General facility duties will be assigned as required by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse/Facility:
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized warehouse environment at all times
- Assist with various tasks including but not limited to: sweeping of grounds, cleaning of debris, attending to pallets/cardboard, replenishing stock
- Prepare orders for delivery, UPS or pallet shipment
- Receive deliveries and carefully review received materials to ensure receipt in good, expected condition and promptly flag/notify shipper of any shorts or damages received with copy to supervisor
- Operate all delivery/warehouse machinery and equipment in a safe and controlled manner to the standards of company policy
- Ensure all deliveries and shipments are accurately tracked in company logs
- Ensure all equipment/materials received are tagged appropriately before being stored in warehouse and follow up with various user parties as needed on deficiencies
- Perform routine inventory counts and checks
- Check all warehouse cages and doors to ensure they are locked when not in use
- Monitor waste bin levels and schedule pickups
- Ensure all facility supplies and consumables inventory levels are maintained and replenished
- Perform various handyperson duties as needed
- Help maintain accurate keys/lock inventory
- Report any concerns or deficiencies immediately to the supervisor
Driving:
- Assist with minor driver duties as needed, following all company safety standards
- Assist with inspection of vehicles tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and other truck equipment
- Assist with the delivery of company vehicles and maintenance appointments
- Special projects assistance and additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 25 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Forklift license valid or to be acquired
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with others, including management, office, warehouse, and all other personnel
- Must be able to interact courteously and tactfully with customers, vendors and associates
- Valid "G" driver's license and clean driving record
- CVOR driver experience preferred
- Regular working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am4:30pm however must have flexibility with work schedule; overtime as required to meet business needs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs (Repetitive and Consistent)
- Must have visual acuity.
- Must be able to walk, speak, grasp and carry constantly
- Must be able to twist, bend, reach and manipulate constantly

$20.00-$22.00 per hour
