RWDI is seeking a sales-driven, engineering graduate to join our Project Management Program in our
Ottawa office.
About the Program:
- PM Training Program for those looking to focus on the project management and sales side of engineering
The Project Manager role includes but is not limited to:
- Effectively source, negotiate and facilitate new business
- Developing working relationships with clients
- Meet and exceed client expectations and project milestones
- Draft and track proposals
- Manage financial activities of projects including tracking revenue, issuing invoices and recovering receivables
- Assemble and guide the project team towards meeting project objectives
- Ensure Quality Assurances are completed, recorded and meet company standards and project scope
- Must be bilingual (English and French)
- A minimum of an Undergraduate Engineering Degree
- Mechanical, Structural or Environmental Engineering an asset; others will be considered
- Selfmotivated and results orientated
- Flexible and excels in changing environment
- A drive to make it happen; turn client needs into opportunities
- Ability to deliver on commitments and exceed (client) expectations
- Adept at developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients
- Excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills
- Successfully meet schedules and control costs
- An aptitude for practical problem solving
- Desire to work in, and contribute to, project teams
- Excellent team leadership skills and experience
- Exceptional organizational capabilities
