Responsibilities
The Corporate Comptroller leads annual budget development and ongoing financial monitoring balancing legislative and accounting requirements withthe operational realities of delivering housing programs in remote diverse communities.The position ensures compliance with the Financial Administration Act Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS),oversees all audit activities including
the annual Office of the Auditor General audit,LHO audits,and provides clear practical financial advice to senior leadership.Through people-centred leadership,the Corporate Comptroller strengthens financial systems by building capacity across teams responsible for corporate accounting,mortgage administration,district financial operations,supporting sustainable accountable housing delivery across Nunavut.Key Responsibilities Of The Successful Candidate Will Also Include:
