We are currently looking for a Saw Operator to join our production team based out of our location in Richmond (Mitchell Island).

Responsibilities

Performs pretrims and/or final trims on various types and cuts of meat.
Operates some of the following equipment and/or machinery: grind line machines, sausage stuffer, automatic slicer & dicer, band saw, skinner, trayer & overwrapper, packaging machines, labeling machines, box making machines, and injector machines.
Assists with the training of new Production General Labors.
Ensures the health and safety protocols are followed.
Performs production related duties at line speed including but not limited to traying, wrapping, boxing and unboxing products, bagging, and labeling.
Moves and palletizes products, raw materials, boxes, and cases.
Performs basic quality checks on products to ensure compliance with food safety standards and customer needs.
Confirms finished products meets customer requirements, and reporting any issues or concerns to production supervisors.
Performs various production related duties on a rotation basis.
Assembles, disassembles, and operates equipment as required by daily production plan.
Other duties as needed.
