    Who we are:

    Brim is an established fintech company based out of Toronto. Brim built a credit card infrastructure and digital platforms to bring much needed innovation to the cards space in Canada. Brim's tech stack merges the two verticals of Credit Cards and Rewards/Loyalty in real-time. Brim's infrastructure is live at all merchants worldwide. Since launching our first suite of credit cards in Canada in mid-2018, we continued to grow our presence, rolling out Brim's B2B platform and partnering with Financial Institutions, FinTech's and large corporates to rollout market leading product platforms.

    Our Operations team is responsible for all aspects of the operations of our consumer cards business.

    In this Individual Contributor role, you will:

    • Assess scope and budget of work activities with members of the team.
    • Provide consulting on TS2 Credit Card system to internal partners.
    • Research, investigate and advise on 'best method' for achieving business objectives, including ongoing identification and recommendation of cost reduction and revenue enhancement opportunities through business/operational processes, strategies, and platform development.
    • Analyze Credit Card options for conflict, redundancies, and duplication, making recommendations to enhance and/or reach business objectives.
    • Document / Investigate system development requirements necessary to meet business needs, consulting with platform vendor to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded.
    • Preparation of formal documentation to support Business Analysis Requests, project change requests and business needs including status tracking.
    • Participate in project development walkthroughs, scoping, and reviews. Analysis of recommended solutions by the platform vendor.
    • Research and resolution of production issues identified by Call Centre & Operational areas, and vendors.
    • Create test plans, participate in test execution, and issue resolution in an end-to-end digital environment.
    • Create and maintain SOP's for operational functions within the organization.
    • Be responsible for the co-ordination of testing activities across vendors and business areas (statements, cards, correspondence, insurance, digital products, etc.).
    • Support process and procedures to ensure the integrity of the daily settlement activities.
    • Assess plans and timelines with a variety of vendor contacts with respect to new development, enhancements, and issue resolution.
    • Work with other users of the system to become a solution provider in daily processes, problem resolution and new initiatives.
    • Participate in regular meetings with TSYS and other vendors to monitor and review issues ensuring they are resolved or reviewed within established time frames.
    • Track and identify potential risks to the success of projects, both internally and externally.
    • Actively participate in information sharing across the team and the company.
    • Provide support to other teams for any activities or initiatives as needed and as identified.
    • Support the relationship between our company and our processing partner, TSYS.

    We are looking for someone who:

    • Preferably has at least 10 years of relevant experience in the credit card industry.
    • Has minimum 5 years of configuration experience with the TSYS TS2 credit card processing environment, including ancillary products such as TSYS Analytics, ADM, Docline, TRIAD and DDS and integrations between TSYS and digital products
    • Has a proven record of high performance.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
