Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a System Administrator with 5 or more years' experience managing Enterprise on-premises environments and cloud infrastructure.

Broad responsibilities will include working with the various teams from Infrastructure, Product, Development and Architecture to facilitate the design, development and maintenance of our on-premises private cloud and Azure cloud environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Delivering proactive and reactive technical expertise with a handson approach, addressing issues and improvements for our 24x7 Canadian Health Care operation alongside the other members of the service delivery team.
Continuous service improvements of our automation repository used in managing our onpremises and cloud infrastructure.
Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring.
Monitor datacenter health using existing management tools and respond to issues as they arise; help build, test, deploy and maintain QHRs infrastructure stack as needed.
Interact with Customer Service and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.

Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements:

Required Skills:

Relevant IT/Computer Science degree or diploma, or equivalent experience required.
5 or more years managing Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory and GPO.
5 or more years of PowerShell development and automation. Experience with other scripting languages will be considered an asset.
Experience working in an Enterprise infrastructure.
Strong ability to design, implement and improve Infrastructure automation using PowerShell.

Additional skills

Experience in automating system administration and reporting and capacity management.
Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Splunk, SysInternals (ProcMon, ProcEx, ).
Strong experience in implementing and managing using Security best practices.
Experience or understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts and principles.
Experience in Cloud Computing (specifically Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS).
Excellent documentation and communication using ITIL or other industry standards.

Compensation and Logistics:

Base salary, variable bonus established at the corporate level, competitive benefits package

Minimal to no travel required.
