Tasks:
- Bathing/shampooing
- Prepare food and feed animals
- Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
- Keep records of animals treated
- Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals
- Ear cleaning
- Maintain and order supplies
- Flea baths
- Monitor and document animal behaviour
- Operate dispatch systems
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
- Pet first aid course
- Veterinary assistant course
Dog training expertise:
- Canine behaviour problems/modification
Animal specialization:
- Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
