Tasks:


  • Bathing/shampooing
  • Prepare food and feed animals
  • Clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stall and enclosures
  • Keep records of animals treated
  • Assist with inoculation and treatment of animals
  • Ear cleaning
  • Maintain and order supplies
  • Flea baths
  • Monitor and document animal behaviour
  • Operate dispatch systems

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:


  • Pet first aid course
  • Veterinary assistant course

Dog training expertise:


  • Canine behaviour problems/modification

Animal specialization:


  • Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
  • Reptiles

Security and safety:


  • Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/travel information:
