Job Duties:
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive growth of the branch
- Foster proactive safety culture by leading by example
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure effective branch project management oversight
- Create and manage branch budgets
- Review income statements for trends and areas of improvement
- Forecast manpower and equipment for area of influence
- Ensure workforce is trained and executing duties in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Oversee logistics planning and resources
- Ensure all federal and provincial regulations and legislation are followed
- Act with the highest degree of ethics and moral responsibility
- Responsible for the hiring and professional development of all direct reports in collaboration with HR
- Resolve employee and client disputes
- Actively promote and grow the DFI brand within the community and local industries
Qualifications:
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office suite of products
- 2 years Outside Sales Experience
- Certificate/Bachelors degree in BA or Commerce or 10+ years work experience including 5 years management/business development experience
- Oilfield Industrial and/or Commercial Foundation Construction experience is considered and asset
- Experience with Commercial Transportation and/or Logistic Management is an asset
- US transportatio and shipping knowledge is an asset
