Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities, and assisting guests' requests.
HOTEL FRONT DESK AGENT'S DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warmly welcome and greet all hotel guests
- Perform all checkin and checkout tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests and collect necessary information (e.g., contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Respond to clients' complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests' needs
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Auditing, balancing, and verifying daily revenue documentation
- Managing the hotel's inventory of reservations, room assignments, and vacancies
- Greeting guests, checking them into rooms, assisting with checkouts, and providing guests with important information
- Answering phones, scheduling wakeup calls, and assisting with reservation requests
- Responding to guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns
- Balancing cash drawers, record errors, and reconcile receipts
- Promoting hotel services and features
REQUIREMENTS:
- Customer service attitude and passion
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist
Salary:
From $17.50
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kingston, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary:
From $17.50
per hour
