Fort McMurray Community Addiction and Mental Health Walk in Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a permanent Social Worker position.

As a Social Worker you will provide crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment services. Utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, you will be supporting individual's abilities to guide their own wellness journeys.

In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480.

This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Description:

As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families

Your services may include:

psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.
