We are currently seeking Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters for a full-time permanent position to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Demonstrate the proper safety procedures as set out in the OH&S and company safety manuals
Layout, install, or remove temporary structures and fixtures, including scaffolding, ladders, railings, and rigging installation
Cutting and fastening materials as required, doing the layout including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring marking materials to avoid costly mistakes
Working with various tools and materials, lifting, pulling, or pushing, carrying and manipulating objects up to 50lbs.
Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors
Must be able to work in a multitrade environment
Must have a commitment to safe work practices and be able to adhere to safety policies

Qualifications:

Licensed Alberta Journey person, Red Seal Certificate (An Asset) or a registered apprentice with a blue book
Minimum 3 years of direct experience with the above duties
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Vehicle
Selfmotivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Able to organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help
Strong work ethic, willingness to take initiative
Must be able to work independently and with a team
Must display a positive attitude and emotional intelligence
Leadership skills to supervise labourers
Proven written and verbal communication abilities
Must be willing to work out of town if/when required
May be required to complete a criminal record check to work on site
