Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:
The Commercial Specialist performs a variety of well-defined project support assignments for the Canadian commercial organization,
working under a moderate degree of supervision. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting multiple functions/departments.
Reporting into Vertex Canada General Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide launch support to all business units including project/timeline tracker, meeting organization, launch readiness updates, etc
- Lead local CRC coordination across all business units align on process, cadence of meetings and priorities and main contact for NA CRC operations
- Responsible for tracking/reconciling of Canadian commercial OPEX including purchase orders and billing;
- Assisting team with contracting of projects and tracking status of project progress for major initiatives and projects with vendors
- Lead organization & implementation of all major launch readiness meetings
- Assists commercial teams/suppliers in the execution of major campaigns (eg. Logistics, meeting planning, coordination of internal/external engagements)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Effective communicator (written and verbal)
- Project management and organizational skills required
- Possesses sufficient computer skills to support and maintain department software programs (eg. MS Office, Coupa, VCT Contracting Tool, etc)
- Ability to support meetings, conventions, conferences/exhibitions and the requisite support services
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Typically requires 2 year of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
