    The SolidCAD Marketing Team oversees field and go-to-market marketing initiatives across Canada, operating within Symetri's global organization while supporting regional sales, business development, and growth objectives.

    Role Summary

    The Field Marketing Specialist is a highly organized, execution-focused role within the SolidCAD Marketing Team, responsible for owning and leading all field marketing initiatives across Canada.

    This role plans, coordinates, and executes in-person and hybrid marketing activities including tradeshows, conferences, executive events, roadshows, webinars, and regional campaigns. The Field Marketing Specialist is accountable for end-to-end event execution, including logistics, vendor coordination, marketing material management, on-site support, and post-event reporting.

    This position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives. The role also requires regular travel to support events and the ability to work from the office when required to coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and prepare marketing materials in advance of events.

    Department: SolidCAD Marketing (Canada, part of Symetri global organization)

    Work Model: Hybrid, with travel and in-office presence as required for event execution

    Core Responsibilities

    1. Field Marketing & Event Ownership

    • Own the planning and execution of all field marketing initiatives across Canada
    • Lead the end-to-end delivery of:
    • Tradeshows and conferences
    • Executive and VIP events
    • Regional roadshows
    • Webinars and hybrid events
    • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and execution checklists
    • Ensure all events are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with brand standards

    2. Event Logistics, Travel & On-Site Execution

    • Coordinate all event logistics, including:
    • Booth rentals and layouts
    • Shipping and receiving of marketing materials
    • Vendor coordination and contracts
    • On-site setup, execution, and teardown
    • Travel to events to provide on-site marketing support as required
    • Work from the office when needed to:
    • Prepare and pack event materials
    • Coordinate shipments and inventory
    • Manage storage and organization of event assets

    3. Marketing Materials & Inventory Management

    • Own the organization, maintenance, and distribution of:
    • Tradeshow booths and displays
    • Printed collateral
    • Branded merchandise and giveaways
    • Maintain accurate inventory tracking and ensure materials are event-ready
    • Coordinate production and replenishment of materials as needed

    4. Campaign Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate closely with:
    • Demand Generation (campaign alignment and lead capture)
    • Content Marketing (event messaging and assets)
    • Sales and Business Development (event goals, staffing, and follow-up)
    • Support pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up activities
    • Ensure proper lead capture, handoff, and tracking in CRM systems
    • Partner with Sales and BD teams to ensure lead quality and alignment with event objectives

    5. Budget Management, Reporting & ROI

    • Manage event and field marketing budgets, including:
    • Forecasting and expense tracking
    • Vendor invoices and cost reconciliation
    • Track and report on:
    • MQLs generated
    • Net new leads and accounts
    • Deliver post-event reports with insights and recommendations within defined timelines
    • CRM & Marketing Automation
    • Event & Project Management
    • Event platforms (Eventbrite, Pheedloop or similar)
    • for planning and coordination
    • Reporting & Analytics
    • HubSpot reporting
    • Google Analytics (basic event performance tracking)
    • Content & Asset Tools
    • WordPress (event content updates)
    • PowerPoint / Google Slides for event materials
    • Excel or equivalent financial tracking tools
    • MQLs generated from field marketing initiatives
    • Net new leads and accounts per event
    • Event ROI and pipeline influence
    • On-time, on-budget execution of events
    • Accuracy and completeness of post-event reporting

    What Success Looks Like

    • Events are consistently delivered on time, on budget, and without last-minute issues
    • Sales and Business Development teams trust and rely on field marketing execution
    • Marketing materials and inventory are well-organized, accessible, and event-ready
    • Post-event reporting is timely, accurate, and actionable

    Qualifications & Experience

    • 3–5 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or experiential marketing
    • Proven experience owning and executing events end to end
    • Strong organizational, planning, and logistics management skills
    • Comfortable traveling for events and working on-site as required
    • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and vendors
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
    • B2B, professional services, or technology industry experience preferred
