    Pipeline TDs are known as Technical Artists at EA and as part of our EA SPORTSTM FC studio, the Technical Art Team helps push visual boundaries and experiences for our players.

    We combine creativity and imagination with technical expertise. The Technical Artist is a bridge between the artists and engineers.

    They are considered part of the art team and work closely with artists, project managers, SEs and the Technical Art team.

    They also act as a point of contact with the game team partners, liaising between the art team and the game team.

    The main areas of responsibilities include content pipeline automation, art production workflows, tools, asset optimization, content management/integration and game development.

    TAs are expected to assume ownership over any technical issues that arise on their project and bring them to resolution.

    You can be from an Art, Design, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science background; Technical Artists report to Technical Art Directors on the EA SPORTSTM FC team.

    Ideally at least 5 years of cinematic/games production experience.
    A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field is desired.
    Experience scripting/programming in python and C#. (C++ is a bonus, but is not required).
    Knowledge of 3D art packages (Maya).
    Experience in revision control software.
    A solutions-provider, particularly as it pertains to testing and debugging technical issues.
    the ability to think creatively to resolve technical challenges and limitations.

    HOURLY PAY RANGES

    • We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
