Description

The Professional Development team plans, schedules, and hosts a number of workshop series during the summer season, and prepares work for ready deployment of PD workshops in Fall and Winter seasons.

This multidisciplinary team works largely in Zoom and other online workshop platforms to professionally present high-level industry speakers with confidence to audiences of participants.

Hosts moderate questions and comments throughout the presentation, and make decisions about which questions are asked at which time. Sessions are recorded and edited for replay viewing. In 2023, we are seeking PD team members who will support and/or specialize in artistic, administrative or technical workshops.

Our waterfall mentorship model means you will help others to learn things you are already an expert in and others will help you learn things you are working on yourself.

These roles are progressive over the summer and youth are afforded as much scope and responsibility as they are willing and able to handle.

It's a great way to 'level up' in a team setting where your voice and opinions genuinely make a difference daily.
