Are you looking for a business partnering role with a foundation in FP&A, along with broad financial management responsibilities? We are recruiting on behalf of a leader in the Technology/Software space located Downtown Toronto, with only 2 days in-office per week. They are currently seeking a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with relevant industry experience and prior training at a public accounting firm.

Key responsibilities and oversight:

• Lead and manage a global team of finance professionals at various levels

• Preparation of financial results and analysis of business unit results for management

• Partner with business leaders to prepare quarterly and annual forecasts/presentations

• Participate in ad hoc projects related to business initiatives focused on driving growth

• Management reporting packages including profitability trends and cost savings opportunities

• Assist with complex accounting issues related to acquisition activities and revenue recognition

• Provide audit support for internal, external, and statutory audit inquires at the BU level

• Continuous process improvement and working with leadership to develop best practices

The company is offering an excellent compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary and annual bonus program. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA)

• 5-8 years of combined experience in public accounting and industry

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
