Description

Cielo Verde is a privately held licensed producer of premium quality-grade recreational adult-use cannabis with one of Quebec's most extensive growing facilities and a yearly production capacity of approximately 10 tons.


Responsibilities:


  • Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.
  • Planning and monitoring inbound ocean containers.
  • Supervising logistics and transportation.
  • Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
  • Working with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  • Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
  • Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to reduce operational, storage, and distribution costs
  • Review and perform physical count of all inventory reports and prepare requisitions for all parts
  • Analyze and resolve all inventory issues and monitor all requests for same from all branches
  • Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
  • Preparing detailed inventory reports, including stock levels, inventory needs, and details of operations about inventory needs

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  • Outstanding analytical, problemsolving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics GP an asset.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
