Description

The Kenan Advantage Group Inc., (KAG), is North America's largest tank truck transporter and logistics provider, delivering energy commodities, specialty products, merchant gases, and food products across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Pricing Analyst will join our Revenue Team and will report to the Director of Revenue. The role will support in providing quotes and completing tender submissions for external customers.

This role works alongside our Operations, Finance, and Sales teams in negotiating rate changes and performing profitability analysis on all major accounts, lanes, and product lines.


About the position:


  • Support pricing initiatives across all aspects of the business
  • Contribute to the growth and evolution of the pricing team to drive pricing excellence.
  • Work with leadership teams to define and execute pricing initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations & finance to align pricing strategies with overall business goals and objectives.

Price Negotiation and Contract Management: Support sales teams in negotiating pricing with key clients and partners. Develop and manage pricing contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability targets.

Pricing Models: Develop and implement pricing models to dynamically adjust pricing based on various factors such as demand, seasonality, and customer segments, ensuring the company maximizes revenue opportunities, ensuring that pricing strategies align with the product's positioning and value proposition.

Competitive Pricing Analysis: Conduct thorough competitive pricing analysis to identify market trends, benchmark against industry standards, and recommend adjustments to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive end-to-end pricing strategies, considering market trends, competitive landscape, and business objectives to maximize revenue and profitability.

Data Analytics and Insights: Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to analyze pricing data, customer behavior, and market trends. Generate actionable insights to inform pricing decisions and optimize product/service pricing structures.

  • Ability to manipulate data effectively and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare concise reports to assist management in making pricingrelated decisions and making risk assessments.
  • Have the drive and motivation to learn and get into the details to build out your strategies.

What you bring:


  • High level of proficiency in MS excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills; ability to efficiently manage a variety of concurrent projects and handle conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines.

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, commerce, accounting, finance or logistics
