At the CCTS, our mandate is to review and resolve telecommunications and television complaints after interaction between the customer and their service provider has failed to produce a satisfactory outcome.

Your Role:

As the Stakeholder Affairs Coordinator, you are responsible for working on elements of the stakeholder engagement plan and for providing ongoing support to initiatives and projects related to Stakeholder Affairs, as well as providing excellent customer service to new and current PSPs (Participating Service Providers)


Your Responsibilities:


  • Create and keep PSP records up to date, including managing changes required further to PSP mergers or acquisitions as well as confidential financial information, coordinating with other departments as needed
  • Support the PSP signup process by ensuring new PSPs have a positive first impression and a strong and amicable relationship to build on moving forward, and responding to general questions from different stakeholders
  • Assist in outreach and engagement activities on a regular basis
  • Plan and support the delivery of stakeholder consultations and webinars, create and analyze postconsultation survey
  • Support the Director with various initiatives, the development of Partnership Agreements, the creation and delivery of a corporate social responsibility strategy, and crosspromotional activities
  • Work closely with other CCTS teams in the delivery of regular CCTS publications, such as the info bulletins and annual reports
  • Support in the distribution and collecting feedback on educational materials for stakeholders
  • Provide support to the Manager, Communication as required, such as scheduling meetings and outreach to participants
  • Support other projects and initiatives, as required
  • You have a
    minimum of 3 years' experience in a stakeholder relations role in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • You have
    a Bachelor's degree in communications or political science or related field, or and equivalent combination of education and experience
  • You have proven experience in
    managing and monitoring Stakeholder Engagement as a first point of contact
  • You have a good understanding of
    project management, planning and process improvement:
  • You have supported or facilitated small group discussions or consultation processes
  • You can produce communications materials using programs such as
    Word and
    PowerPoint, and have a strong general understanding in
    MS Office, including
    Excel and
    Outlook. If you also happen to have experience with MailChimp and SurveyMonkey that would be great
  • You have an understanding of the telecommunications and/or television industries that would be an asset, but it is not necessary for success in this role
  • You are
    fluent in English and French, with excellent written and oral communications skills, and are able to convey complex information clearly, and in a diplomatic and unbiased manner
