Opportunity

Universal Coach Line is expanding and in search of an experienced, friendly, and devoted Shuttle Bus Drivers to join our team of dedicated Universal Drivers at our homebase in our Vancouver Office

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Professionally drive a fleet of 56passenger charter coach buses, 21 to 24passenger minibuses to facilitate premium passenger transport services for tour groups, academic institutions, sports teams, corporations, industry associations, government organizations and paratransit.
  • Conduct pretrip and posttrip vehicle inspections in a diligent and comprehensive manner with a special focus on safety.
  • Conduct and confirm customer checkins when passengers board the bus.
  • Maintain routine communication with both our Operations Dispatch Team and Maintenance Team to ensure smooth and successful charters and transportation services for our valued clients and their passengers.
  • Load and unload passenger luggage, baggage and equipment when conducting pickups and dropoffs to and from selected travel destinations.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service at all times with an unwavering focus on customer satisfaction to set the industry standard as being one of Canada's leading bus companies.

Job Requirements:


  • Must have a valid Class 1 or Class 2 license with airbrake endorsement or an Unrestricted Class 4 license.
  • 5+ years of clean driving record and safe driving experience is very desirable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent postsecondary degree preferable.
  • Projects a professional presence and provides exceptional customer service when interacting and engaging with valued Universal customers and their passengers.
  • Passionate and committed to helping our customers.
  • Applicants with flexibility towards working hours including working weekends will be given priority.
  • Being able to maintain professionalism and a 'cool attitude' during highpressure situations.
  • Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of our professional Universal Coach Lines Driving Team.
