Camp Tamakwa in Algonquin park is seeking a head Baker for the 2021 Camp Season.

We are a children's residential summer camp hosting 280 campers and approximately staff on south Tea lake.

The Head Baker will be responsible for preparation and organization of Breads and deserts for all residents serving sweets deserts at lunch and dinner 1 piece per person.

Bread production for breakfast and other bread products as requested by the head chef. Eg. Garlic bread, pizza crusts etc. Small birthday cakes for campers. And a Night snack for campers during cabin time. The Baker is also for preparing a small quantity of Gluten Free and Vegan deserts.

In the spring and fall the camp hosts Weddings school groups and corporate events in the range of guests.

The Baker should be well versed in from scratch production. Time management and cleanliness are very important to this role.

The Head baker is supplied with a Bakers assistant to aid in the production of all bakery items.

The Salad Prep Position will Pay $675 per week and the duties will include salad preparing fresh salad ingredients and compound salads such as potato and pasta salads, They are responsible to keep their work area clean and sanitized and the salad prep organized.

This position will run from June 19-August 17.

The position will run from the end of may through the beginning of October.
